Valerie Muller

I have been interested in complementary medicine since 1982. This came about due to my own ill health, which was helped initially by homeopathy and a change of diet. This period in my life changed my approach to health and well being. Since then I have had an active interest in many forms of complementary medicine and have run my own practice from home for over 20 years. In 1990 I studied Holistic Aromatherapy with the Edinburgh School of Holistic Aromatherapy and became a Member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA).Although Aromatherapy has a lot to offer for relaxation and de-stressing, I felt I wanted to offer people a more in-depth holistic approach to health and well-being. I had been introduced to Kinesiology several years before and as it got to the core of a person’s problem very quickly I therefore decided to study this for a professional kinesiology qualification and I am now an Advanced Member of the Kinesiology Federation.
1995: Balanced Health Course, The Academy of Systematic Kinesiology
1996: Touch for Health I, II, III, IV + Advanced
1996: Professional Kinesiology Practitioner Course (3 years) including Educational Kinesiology, Counselling and Nutrition
2001: Creative Kinesiology Course (1 year)In addition I keep up-to-date with Continuing Professional Development. Some of the courses I have done are:Kinesiology:
Holographic Hormone Balancing with Hugo Tobar, Neuro Energetic Kinesiology
Integrating Primitive and Postural Infant Reflexes with Brendan O”Hara
Tools of the Trade, One Brain, Under the Code, ESP with Harmony Kinesiology College

Aromatherapy & Massage:
Massage and Touch Therapy for People with Cancer
Thai Foot Massage
Natural Lift Facial Massage/Facial Rejuvenation
Indian Head Massage
Aromatherapy Interventions for Pain and Inflammation
Skin Care Workshop

As Kinesiology can bring in many forms of healing I was drawn to do various additional therapy training:
2001: Reiki with the School of Living Light
2007: Integrated Myofascial Release (Level 1)
2009: Visceral Manipulation – Abdomen 1
2010: Spiritual Response
2012: Spiritual Restructuring
2012: Sound Therapy using Musical Tuning Forks for Humans

All of the above can be used independently of a Kinesiology balance but if required in a session I may use all the tools I have to balance a person.

Nutrition:
The Bioforce (now A Vogel) Phytotherapy Course, 1 year course 1997
A Vogel Phytotherapy Workbooks course (covering 10 systems of the body) 2004
Blackmores “Celloids Correspondence Course”, 1 year in 2008
Lamberts Practitioner Seminars: Addiction, Gut Disorders, The Liver, Cardiovascular Disease, Changing Brain Chemistry, Chronic Pain, Lungs, Amino Acids/Proteins/Fats

I have a keen interest in nutrition and supplements/herbs/flower essences as they can assist the body and mind to keep healthy. In my teenage years I was diagnosed with an auto-immune thyroid disease and this resulted in two partial thyroidectomies. In my very early 20’s Homoeopathy opened my mind to looking at health in a different way and realised there were many things I could do for myself to keep me in balance.
